In 2022, a significant restoration project took place on the iconic Hobbs Building, focusing on the preservation of its historical elements. The centerpiece of this endeavor was the replacement of the original wood dome, a distinctive architectural feature that had weathered the passage of time.

A lighter fiberglass replica was crafted and seamlessly integrated into the structure, capturing the essence of the building's original design. In a nod to the building's rich history, the authentic onion dome was carefully removed and placed in preservation.
